First Years Everywhere Baby Gate Bracket
thingiverse
This is a modified bracket for a 'First Years Everywhere' baby gate. http://www.amazon.ca/The-First-Years-Everywhere-Gate/dp/B0000DBHHR I made a new one as the ones that came with the gate had a fairly small margin for the stopper to hit. I printed mine at 0.06 layer height and 80% infill. It's solid like a rock. I've performed my own tests to verify the integrity for myself, but test it out yourself and use at your own risk. It's to stop your child from potentially falling down a set of stairs, so make sure you're comfortable with it. Instructions I would recommend printing in PLA for rigidity. Use a high infill percentage to make the object as solid as possible. I used 80%. As I mentioned in the description, test it yourself to be sure you're comfortable with it before implementing it. I'd hate to hear that someone made one and didn't realize they has layer separation issues and wasn't aware until their child took a trip down the stairs because the bracket broke. I took mine and smacked it a bunch of times with the handle of a screwdriver, tried to break it by hand and slammed the baby gate on it multiple times before I decided that yes, it will indeed stand up to my child.
