For their 2015 Recycle Rush robot, FRC Team 2445 employed two identical single-stage gearboxes to operate the intake arms. Each gearbox featured a Denso window motor installed on an ABS-printed housing. The Andy Mark Toughbox gears, shafts and bearings were housed within this structure. A custom-made 3D printed ABS coupler was used to adapt the window motor's output to a small hex shaft. The single-stage gear reduction ratio was 4:1.
