First Place stands as a majestic 25-storey tower (78.0 m) specifically catering to senior citizens' retirement apartment needs within Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Constructed in 1976 and proudly claiming the thirteenth spot among the highest structures in Hamilton, this iconic skyscraper is strategically positioned at the pivotal intersection of King and Wellington Street South. A location previously occupied by the historic First United Church, which unfortunately succumbed to a devastating fire in 1969. Priding itself on being an integral component of the vibrant active living community, First Place has been steadfastly providing its residents with an environment rich in comfort, services, and personalized support for over three decades now. Furthermore, this expansive property encompasses not just an abundance of living accommodations but also amenities such as a retail outlet, post office, pharmacy, several dining establishments, an extensive garden space, and inclusive faith-based and recreational programs.
