First Model - scene

I'm thrilled to share my utter disaster of a first scene for this school project. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a masterpiece of mediocrity. The clock ticks away as I stare blankly at the page, struggling to come up with something, anything that won't make me look like a complete fool in front of my classmates. My heart sinks as I realize that I've managed to write an entire paragraph without using the word "the" - a feat that's sure to impress no one. I take a deep breath and try to salvage what's left of my dignity, but it's too late. This scene is going to be a trainwreck from start to finish.
