I'm designing a house in Softplan, saving it as a .3ds file, and importing it into Blender, where I save it as an .stl. Printing hasn't happened yet, because this is my first time figuring out how to transform the design in Softplan into a 3D printable object - previously, when converting to .stl, the walls were always too thin.
