I'm extremely pleased with my FireStorm kit, but one thing that's proven to be a challenge is landing in grassy areas due to its small wheels. To overcome this issue, I created these custom wheels as a replacement solution. They do happen to be slightly heavier than the originals, however, the model can easily manage this added weight without any issues. In fact, it even benefits from having a bit more nose weight - something it definitely needed. To make these custom tires, I utilized clear vinyl tubing (1/4 inch ID, 3/8 inch OD) and sealed the ends using an included connector along with some CA glue.
