I recently read about 3D printers catching on fire and wanted to add some extra protection for unattended printing because safety is always top priority. The Stovetop Firestop canister seems to be doing a great job putting out kitchen stove fires quickly, so I watched the YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6amohZZaYTo I created a custom mount for it that works perfectly. Just add the firestop and seal the top using a glue gun for extra security. Then attach it between the frame and spool holder, making sure to use longer screws for added stability. The stock screws might work as well, but I decided to err on the side of caution.
