FireHD8 Tablet Holder for Ground Station

This versatile tripod mount tablet holder is designed to support a Fire HD8 tablet during flights with my Mavic Mini Drone. To connect my iPhone to the Fire HD tablet, I utilize Airplay, then attach the tablet to a sturdy tripod. To complete this build, you'll need some threaded rod cut to precise length and 9 1/4-20 nuts as essential hardware components. You will also require printing two knobs, which can be securely fastened with the 1/4-20 nuts. For added stability, consider using a vise or vise grips to secure them in place. I've included my Simplify3D factory file with detailed settings, but feel free to modify as no supports or rafts are necessary for this build. For optimal results, I recommend printing at 15% fill; however, a higher fill percentage may yield even better outcomes.
