This redesign focuses specifically on the lower part of the motor mount, making it compatible with the FireFly drone. The original design had some potential but proved to be challenging to print and lacked sufficient strength when 3D printed. To overcome these issues, this new version is intended to be printed from its flat back side. A Simplify3D photo illustrates the optimal printing orientation for best results. Currently, work is underway on designing the top portion of the motor mount with a goal of making it just as easy to print.
