Firefly bracelet
thingiverse
Drawing inspiration from my wife's biomimetic firefly 2.0 artbot, I designed a versatile firefly bracelet suitable for all ages. This accessory can be adjusted to fit comfortably on any arm size. We showcased these bracelets at the Providence Maker Faire and will also offer them at the NY Maker Faire in September, alongside Firefly 2.0 robots and kits. The bracelet is crafted using three simple STL files designed in Rhino3D, heavily inspired by the beehive bracelet on Thingiverse. To assemble, remove rafts and excess plastic from the battery slot (using a Dremel or small scissors), glue wings onto the back with hot melt glue, attach the bracelet to the belly, and clip any 3V flashing LED leads to a 2032 coin battery before inserting it into the rear abdomen. Wear your firefly bracelet with pride!
