A door chock design I remixed from schlem's original door chock design. Schlem's original design can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:93859. This thing was made with Tinkercad, and you can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/5EoTQBYERzD. If you have any design ideas or suggestions, I'd love to hear them so I can refine this door chock design. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Monoprice Maker Select Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: At least 40% Notes: Rotate it so the large notch is facing upward, and you won't need to print with supports. You can also keep infill low to save on filament. Dimensions: 114mm Long x 38mm High x 30mm Wide if printed at 100% scale How I Designed This: I've wanted a custom door chock for a while now, but I wasn't satisfied with the designs available on Thingiverse. So, I decided to make my own, adding some features that would make it more useful. I took the original design and used Tinkercad's Square Hole tool to create the holes where I needed them. It was as simple as rotating the square and sizing it to my liking. This door chock is designed to be versatile - you can use it in your door, or turn it around and use it in the door jamb itself. The chunk cut out near the bottom is for attaching a helmet strap, but I'm hoping the cut isn't too deep so it won't get stuck. I've included versions with and without holes, as well as with and without the notch for the helmet strap. The hole is 6mm in diameter, making it easy to fit most kinds of rope or a ziptie.
