Replacing my car stereo to add CarPlay was a must, so I needed to find room for USB plugs in my '99 Firebird. To free up space, I created a custom replacement plate for the TCS switch cover on the center console. By moving the TCS switch to the left side of the cover, I cleared the way to add two USB ports on the right. The perfect solution was a BATIGE Dual Ports Square USB 3.0 Panel Flush Mount Extension Cable With Buckle for Car Truck Boat Motorcycle Dashboard 6ft., easily found on Amazon. This panel fits incredibly snugly in the center console.
