The creator of that Fire Stick remote bigifier did an excellent job, but unfortunately, his design was tailored specifically for newer remotes, which are a full 10mm shorter than their predecessors. Taking his basic concept as my starting point, I tweaked it to fit those older remotes perfectly and even added some reinforcements to make the overall design more robust. I also corrected a minor modeling error that had slipped through the cracks. This revised design should suit your Fire TV remote just fine - especially if it lacks volume controls. The best part? It's now much less likely to get lost and easier to grasp, making it a joy to use. A big thank you goes out to mwgalindo for sharing his fantastic design in the first place!
