Fire Sense
thingiverse
I'm always looking for ways to make my workshop safer, so I installed an alarm on my printer right away. When I'm working on boats, I take the Kidde Battery-Operated Ionization sensor with me and keep it handy in case something goes wrong. It's incredibly loud and can be heard even when I'm wearing a dust mask, giving me a crucial head start if there's ever a fire. The best part is that it's battery operated, so I don't have to worry about any electrical issues. Plus, it fits perfectly into my existing fire sense bracket. This little addition makes me feel like I've taken another big step towards creating a safer 3D printing environment.
