This device is an enclosure for a mosquito coil designed to prevent accidental ignition of flammable materials like curtains or mosquito nets. Made of PLA that self-extinguishes in case of flame, it allows oxygen in and smoke out while inhibiting sparks or hot ash from escaping. The lid is secured in place to avoid falling off when knocked. Mosquito coils are an effective method for repelling mosquitoes responsible for transmitting diseases like malaria. However, they may emit smoke with health concerns. New generation charcoal-based coils reduce particulate matter and formaldehyde emissions. Place a nail in the base's centre hole, add a metal washer or foil around it, put the coil on the nail, light its end, extinguish the flame, lock the lid, and keep the enclosure away from flammable things for safe mosquito repellent use.
