Grooved butterfly valves are engineered for use as shut-off or throttling valves in a variety of piping systems, including water supply and fire protection applications. They meet UL/FM standards at 300 psi. The vulcanized disc design ensures a bubble-tight seal every time the valve is operated. Low torque operation extends cycle life. These valves feature gear-operated mechanisms and include built-in supervisory switches to prevent tampering. Grooved ends are constructed to AWWA C606 specifications, while fusion-bonded epoxy coatings meet AWWA C550 standards for interior and exterior finishes.
