A basic rendition of a fire hydrant model. Most poly counts went into the chain links, 26K or 52k tris at minimum. Initially, I wanted to utilize alphas for the chains, but chose to model it instead. Background lore: This fire hydrant is heavily rusted and caked with grime because it's been around since before the city block changed hands four and a half centuries ago. It's been repurposed by the new local government. Years of in-place survival have left it covered in grime and patina. You can spot some gang emblems that have been added over time.
