Fire Giant (Split for Printing)
thingiverse
MZ4250's fire giant breaks into multiple registration pegs for easier printing processes. Its head comes in a customized version with support structures tailored to fit specific needs. This scaled-up model is roughly 10% larger, closely matching the size of WotC's Fire Giant from Storm King's Thunder. The base has been downsized proportionally, maintaining its correct diameter for a massive creature. Print all parts except the sword, which is divided into two halves. Legs should be printed upside down to ensure proper orientation. Supports will still be necessary for many components but will be significantly less than printing the entire model as one piece. The fire giant's design features zero-tolerance tolerances, making it essential to use a solvent like acetone for gluing purposes. During printing, the head was created at 0.1mm layer height with a 0.25mm nozzle size, while other components were printed at 0.15mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle.
