This device converts a discarded fire extinguisher into a versatile pressure container for tasks such as carbonating beverages. Typically large aluminum tubes hold high-pressure dry chemical fire extinguishers, but this adapter is only suitable for use at pressures up to 65 PSI. CAUTION: Dry chemical fire extinguishers require thorough cleaning before reuse, and the cap must be designed with substantial walls or a solid structure for safe operation above 25 psi.
