Fire Deer Lithophane
thingiverse
Software used: Photoshop, Blender, Meshmixer, S3D. Dimensions: 165mm x 115mm x 6mm. Note: This is a large and detailed STL file that may put some systems/slicers under pressure. It slices best in Cura 3.6+ or S3D. A note on slicing in Simplify3D: It's easiest to slice the lithophane in Cura (or Slic3rPE) as there's an extra step in Simplify3D due to the way the lithophanes are created, this by design to allow additional editing/printing options for more advanced users. If you want to use Simplify3D, just do the following: 1. Load the lithophane STL into S3D as normal. 2. Click Mesh - Separate Connect Surfaces 3. Slice as normal The added bonus of doing this is you can re-crop the image into the frame if you wish, or easily resize or remove the frame altogether. If you don't do the above in S3D, there may be a tiny gap between the frame and the lithophane when you actually slice the model. The "x2-Litho_Boots-6mmSlot-Gadunky.com.stl" is really only added to allow me to upload the zip file with the lithophane in it (Thingiverse needs at least one STL file to allow the zip).
With this file you will be able to print Fire Deer Lithophane with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Fire Deer Lithophane.
