Fire Coast Design Tower houses skilled disability workers in various construction fields, such as architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing engineers. The building has two floors facilitating work exchange and communication for timely completion of projects. Separated into three sections like a cake, the structure features fire patterns around its exterior to deter object throwing or impact. Communication within the building is accessible via visual means including VP, caption phones, and interpreters. Guests are welcome to observe and appreciate the abilities of disabled workers. The design was conceived with creativity and innovation in mind, distinguishing it from conventional building designs. Plexiglass windows offer heat protection from sunlight, preventing temperature increases and sunburn. The top-floor ceiling features plexiglass for sky viewing without eye strain, similar to sunglasses. Jackson Callahan and I collaborated on this project.
