Finnish lake vase
thingiverse
Another serene lake right in my backyard. Over 900 meticulously placed vertices took nearly three days to create with Blender. Modeled after the stunning Vuohijärvi Lake, located at https://www.google.com/maps/place/Vuohij%C3%A4rvi/@61.1726157,26.6830843,12z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x4690477f2b2cb607:0xe9f1f140c9cd35a3!8m2!3d61.1744532!4d26.7210388?hl=en When it comes to printing, I highly recommend using 0% infill for a crisp finish. If you need added weight, consider increasing the infill value accordingly. ABS material is ideal for this design, as PLA tends to warp from the bottom. Estimated print time with 0% infill clocks in at approximately 10.5 hours. Please note that not all islands are included in this model, as they were simply too thin to print effectively. Update: I've added a revised version (v2) of the model, along with a low-poly alternative that's better suited for printing.
