Finnish destroyer (fictional WWII)

Finnish destroyer (fictional WWII)

thingiverse

A 50cm long model of a fictional destroyer design. One of my "let's see where this goes" type of designs, where i had a sort of general idea of what i wanted to design, but not really anything beyond that. That also means everything has been eyeballed, meaning i have no idea of the scale, or if the bits have very realistic dimensions. I suppose it's somewhere around 1/200, but don't bet on that. It was actually supposed to be one of those more modern GMD's (Guided Missile Destroyer) But witch ended up going in a direction that looked more like a WWII destroyer of some sort. After i had got the general shape of the ship done, i decided it would be fun to equip it with some Swedish designed/built armaments and started thinking that if Finland had a destroyer in WWII, what sort of armaments/equipment would it have. The camouflage is based on the one in the Finnish warship Väinämöinen.
