I purchased a new 36" Finnex Planted+ as well as the 30" version. The tanks are framed out and mounted behind my wall, leaving only about an inch or two above them. I was planning on ditching the clear plastic leg brackets that come with the lights and just lying flat on my tank. However, Finnex didn't make the lights a full 36" or 30", they are short by about a half inch. I was screwed until I realized I have a 3D printer and Tinkercad. These legs are modeled after the stock clear plastic legs and fit just like they do. They raise the fixture up significantly less than the stock ones, making them an adequate replacement for broken brackets. Prints with minimal supports and gets the job done.
