This is a plastic filter screen for the Finnex External Hang on Box for aquariums. I did this for two reasons. 1) The stock one is small, easy to lose, and transparent. 2) I had a Randalli shrimp escape the box over the screen (presumably), because the stock screen is quite short. Therefore, I made this one taller as an upgrade. If the screen completely clogs there are still lots of other ways the water can escape the box into the tank without making a mess, so I don't see any downside to this upgrade.
