If you've ever crushed your finger trying to grasp and hammer in a finish nail, then you know how excruciating it can be! This tool is specifically designed for driving edge nails into 3/4" stock. It carefully positions the nail smack in the middle of the board beneath; precisely 3/8" from the edge. The tool glides out effortlessly once the nail is set in place. It works perfectly well with any size finish nail. The legs are also long enough to assist in aligning the two boards as you begin to hammer them together. It can be used just as easily with either hand.
