To achieve manual control on a restricted (Z) axis without a dual-shaft stepper, utilize this budget Finger Wheel alternative. It features a 5/16" hex nut recess in the wheel face and employs the collar as a coupler for a 1/4" stepper shaft. Print it on a SeeMeCNC H1 with 45% infill. For installation, fasten the motor with 2" hex bolts, as the fingerwheel is slimmer than typical NEMA23 mounting holes.
