This is an ergonomic X-Acto blade holder designed in response to the Fiskars fingertip craft knife holder's innovative design. It allows you to apply direct downward pressure on the rear of the blade, giving you precise control over its trajectory. Unlike other tools, it doesn't accommodate pushing or stabbing type motions, as that's not how X-Acto blades are intended to be used. To secure the blade under the snap, you'll need a reliable method - I find it effective to push the tip against a cutting mat, which provides a solid grip.
