Fingers for RIT Arm
thingiverse
These are custom fingers I've designed to fit seamlessly onto the original RIT arm after discovering the original ones were prone to over-rotation during use. To prevent this issue, I've incorporated stops into the fingers to ensure a smooth and stable performance. Initial testing has yielded impressive results, with these new fingers functioning flawlessly. Additionally, I utilized Autodesk Print studio for post-processing, requiring minimal support and cleanup when fitting them onto the arm. Furthermore, careful consideration was given to finger widths, allowing for effortless installation using Chicago bolts while minimizing friction to almost zero.
