finger tip protector/splint
thingiverse
A finger splint / protector. I had a bad run in with a mandolin and needed something to protect my finger tip from bumps while it heals. I saw the OG finger protector https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42441 and wanted something with holes for ventilation. I built it in openscad and made it relatively easy to scale up or down. I added support for differing top and bottom diameters to accommodate some gauze in the tip. You'll probably need to tweak the parameters a little to fit your finger diameter and desired length. I put the global parameters at the top so the customizer app appears to work. Printed in PETG with no raft or supports on a smooth bed. Should work fine in PLA. If you run into adhesion issues maybe add a raft since the base is small.
