My kids and their buddy asked me to whip up some Finger-snowboards. Kids absolutely love them, and it's my top 3D giveaway right now! I usually print them out in PLA and then dip the tips into boiling water to give 'em a bit of a bend. Stickers are fantastic for making each board uniquely personal. To make two-color versions, I use 3mm plastic that's roughly 50cm long and swap out to different colored filament. The amount you'll need will depend on your printer, so feel free to experiment! The boards in the images were printed with PLA from Faberdashery. To bend the ends just right, simply heat up the tips of the printed model in warm tap water and bend it into shape. For a different color on the bottom of the board, just stick a 10 cm piece of the bottom material into place before feeding in the upper material. The Rhino file is attached for your convenience!
