Finger Saver
thingiverse
I designed this to fit snugly over the props of my Quadrysteria Rush 4" racing quad. Every time I pick it up with the battery still plugged in, I feel like I'm holding a human blender. This gadget will catch the props if they start spinning out of control. I haven't printed this yet, but I'm releasing it as a concept design to spark some ideas. Hopefully, it will save some fingers from getting caught. Future revisions might include eliminating angles greater than 45 degrees to eliminate the need for supports in areas that could benefit from them. **Note: The Rush frame is not symmetrical. The back motors are closer together than the front motors. You'll likely need to adjust the pod spacing to fit your specific needs, as I designed it for 4x4.5 bullnose racing props.
