Here is my new design concept I'm sharing with you - it was created as part of a project in school. Feel free to make use of this idea! At the top joint, I included a small notch where a tendon can securely connect to. The entire finger mechanism relies on tendon actuation and reverts back to its original straight position utilizing torsion springs cleverly positioned around the pivot points.
