Finger Joint Router Jig
thingiverse
I built a tool to clamp onto the edge of a piece of wood, specifically cheap oriented strand I found rotting away in my garage. The goal was to transform it into something usable for a box that will hold carburetor parts. This device is designed to work with a .625 or 5/8 inch flush cut router bit. It performed well enough, but not perfectly as the length and depth of the fingers could be fine-tuned for better results. The tool consists of two main components: one piece indexes off the edge of the wood and the other indexes off an already cut finger gap.
