Finger Flapper

Inspired by DaVinci's innovative flying machine, I crafted this finger-operated model using a combination of my thumb, pointer, and middle finger, or alternatively, my middle three fingers to bring it to life. The accompanying images do not depict the tail piece, which is an integral part of the design. To witness the model in action, visit: https://youtu.be/rAEp2KCDNiA During the design process, I grappled with the challenge of creating wings that would be both wing-like and easily printable. I experimented with various designs before settling on a two-part concept with a connector, which not only looked visually appealing but also served its purpose. In the near future, I plan to create a display stand that will enable the wing to be operated through a system of gears and a crankshaft, eliminating the need for manual finger operation.
