finger brace (for Grandma's arthritis)

finger brace (for Grandma's arthritis)

My grandma has arthritis and found a product very similar to this that helped with the pain in her fingers, only problem is they're expensive and flimsy as hell. She asked me if I could design something similar, so I did. She says it fits very well and is much more rigid than the ones made by a company that might sue me if I publicly trash their overpriced, flimsy garbage. The one pictured is the first one printed in whatever random resin I had in the vat, but 6 more are printing in clear as I type this (a $40 value according to the fine, upstanding company I mentioned earlier). I went with resin but I'm sure with a low layer height fdm would probably work fine too. It is sized to fit her finger so feel free to resize or adjust as needed, all I ask is that you don't sell it. They cost literally pennies to make and price gouging old people for stuff like this is one of the purest evils in the world up there with anti-homeless architecture and working for the IRS.
