Finger braces are used to help protect and rehab finger injuries such as jams or fractures. Current finger braces on the market are very uncomfortable and restrict side-to-side movement of the finger. Another common remedy is buddy taping the injured finger to an adjacent finger. This method ultimately also reduces side-to-side movement and reduces the function of two fingers although only one is injured. Our product will provide a comfortable brace that will allow side-to-side movement while still providing protection and rehab ability. The comfortability of our brace will come from the customization for each individual. A 3D scanning technology will be used to scan a customer's hand and a custom brace will be made using additive manufacturing. Because each brace is different. Also, different materials can be used for custom hardness of the brace. Higher level injuries may require harder braces and lesser injuries can use a softer brace for more movement
