Finger blades

I suggest creating finger blades, one for each finger, and a separate one for the thumb. It might be helpful to cut a hole in each finger of a glove and then slipping the blades through it, but if you have a better idea then go ahead and use that. How I Designed This All I did to the files from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1868461 was to cut off the top, flip it over and stick it on the bottom, and then cut out the back to create the thumb.
