Based on some fine focusers here on Thingiverse, I constructed and printed out my own for the Russian barrel. All threads have brass inserts. The holes would have to be made smaller when printing FDM to melt them down. I glued them in because I printed in resin. That would likely pop or break. I wouldn't print the splint, I would buy it. And considering the weight of the lens, I'll secure it with at least one strap. But for the first time I was able to snap a really well focused picture with the part
