UPDATE - DEC 29, 2019 Fine-Tuning Adapter for Popular Sharpening Systems This adapter enables precise micro-angle adjustments in sharpening systems. I created seven print options to suit various sharpeners: 1. Hapstone M2, R1, and V6 2. Hapstone V7 (or similar sharpener with an 8mm square rod) 3. Edge Pro Apex (also compatible with Edge Pro Professional) 4. Ruixin Pro with a 7mm rod (use with Guide Rod Holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3629639) 5. Ruixin Pro with an 8mm rod (use with Guide Rod Holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3629639) 6. Longmen or similar sharpener with a 10mm rod 7. Leadingedge Sharpener - Link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4135236 NOTES: The Ruixin Pro updated version mentioned in items 4 and 5, along with the Guide Rod Holder, is available on eBay or AliExpress. Print without support for threads to avoid difficulties when removing supports from threads. After printing and cleaning, use your Hapstone M4 thumb screw to cut a thread into the small 2mm hole in the base part. Alternatively, use any other M4 screw to secure the base. The smooth round base locks onto your vertical guide with a small thumb/screw lock. The top knurled part threads onto it and can be rotated for micro-angle adjustments. Before using, work the threads by screwing the two printed parts together 20 times or so until they're smooth. This process may take a few minutes but will result in precise adjustments. I designed the female thread slightly larger than the male thread to ensure micro-adjustments without play after the threads are seated and worn in.
