Final X1 Drag-Chain
thingiverse
This is a side-mount drag-chain for the Sidewinder X1. This differs from other remixes in that it: - Accounts for clearance between the z-axis extrusion, z-axis cover, and the bed arm. - Lowers the bed arm slightly to bring the 90-degree cover a bit further down to account for those of us who use a BLTouch - Integrates over-rotation prevention to attempt to keep the chain from "bulging" and evenly distribute the flex points over the length of the cable - Does not require T-Nuts for fixing to the Z-Axis - A few other subtle tweaks - Can be printed **without** supports, or (**if you must**) strictly *build-plate* supports Additionally I have provided a rigid length that will further clean up the look. This rigid section also includes a notch that accommodates the linked "remixed" gantry stiffeners, bringing the look together even further. As far as I am concerned, this is the final side-chain mod STL you will ever need. Do, however, note that the fit of the z-axis sensor connector is VERY tight. When installing, make sure not to over-stress this connector, and make sure it is ACTUALLY tucked inside the little chamber before securing to the z-axis extrusion.
