Fimi X8 mini battery cover (vase mode)
prusaprinters

Hi!
Designed to be printed in vase mode this cover does provide some extra protection to the part of the battery where the actual cells are located and the battery connector, while leaving the external side with USB-C charging port exposed.
Fitted for printing with 0.8mm wall thickness, but I actually printed and fine tuned it on 0.4mm nozzle. Recommend to use PETG - use whatever brand you have, as long as it prints with good layer adhesion. Also, use rather high nozzle temp and minimize or turn off cooling.
Settings I used:
-0.4mm nozzle,
-0.8mm width,
-0.28mm layer height,
-nozzle temp: 240C,
-cooling: off,
-bottom layers: 3,
-slicing tolerance in Cura: exclusive,
-spiralize (vase) mode.

If you want to push 0.8mm width wall through 0.4mm nozzle as I did I suggest not to crank up the speed to avoid extrusion problems. I printed with ~15mm/s on wall and 25mm/s on the bottom in ~40min with no issues.
NOT suitable for PLA.
