The sink drain has openings that are so large that they clog frequently when allowing the passage of food debris of such size that accumulates in the siphon of the drain and ultimately blocks the water flow. To make particles smaller, I have created this filter which is placed above the old one with smaller openings, allowing larger ones to be retained and making it easier to remove them towards the trash for organic waste.
