It's a compact internal filter designed for use in small aquariums. I use it in my nursing tank. A small commercial pump is used to move water at 300 liters per hour. The outlet tube is attached to the pump by a short piece of PVC tubing, providing a flexible connection that makes installation easy. Any combination of filters can be placed either in the basket or on the tray (perlite, sponge, ceramic rods, activated carbon, etc.). Water is drawn into the filter from the top and expelled through the upper nozzle. The outlet tube is telescoping, allowing you to adjust the height of the nozzle to your desired level and direct it in any direction. The dimensions of the filter are: Filter body: 10x6x6 cm. Minimum height of the outlet nozzle: 15 cm (measured from the base of the filter). Maximum height of the outlet nozzle: 19 cm (measured from the base of the filter).
