Filter Mask
thingiverse
Firstly, I'd like to thank Joan Pujades for creating the original design. I designed this face mask for my son who needs protection while bagging groceries at work. My goal was to create a simple yet reliable assembly that requires minimal post-processing. Important note: This mask is best suited for larger faces and has not been modified through heat bending or scaling. My son reports that it fits comfortably, but I plan to make adjustments to accommodate different users. I've stopped working on this design as a new version (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4287320) has been created which assembles and fits better. To assemble the mask, you will need to print two buckles. Additionally, please have the following items ready: * 30 inches of 3/8 inch elastic band * One thick rubber band * Two small zip ties (or print four buckles, or double the length of the elastic band) * One shop vac filter or vacuum bag and/or one clean cotton t-shirt * One clothespin Remember to wash the mask and replace the filter after each shift.
