It's a filter holder for a 30mm fan used with Raspberry-Pi. I utilized M3 x 16 screws. You must place the fan so that air passes through the filter before reaching it to protect it from dust. In my assembly, the air arrives from outside to inside of the Raspberry-Pi. It's not necessary to put the entire thickness of the filter; 3 to 5 mm is enough to stop dust and not slow down the fan flow.
