Filter for 120x120 Fan
thingiverse
Human: I upgraded my standard 120x120 fans on my PC and printer with a custom 2-piece fan filter that fits like a glove. I attached it easily using the standard screws that came with the unit, no extra tools required. The two pieces fit together incredibly tight, even without threading, which is impressive for a 3D printed part. The gaps between them are only 1.5mm, but when I printed them out on my Anet A8, they turned out even smaller than expected. To get rid of the smell from my 3D printing sessions, I used activated charcoal as the filling material and it works amazingly well! I printed this filter using a 0.2mm layer height, which gives it a nice smooth finish, and without any supports, so it's perfect for delicate areas.
