I optimized the dimensions of the filter holder to enhance compatibility with my chosen material and improve its retention method. I'm utilizing a MERV-16 rated filter featuring 6-inch pleats, which I enlarged to 3 inches to achieve two rows per pleat. By slightly reducing the grill's size on the mask, it pinches the material over the edges more effectively. Additionally, I introduced a step inside the grill to press the filter material backward while pinching it on the side. This modification enables me to assemble the masks at a faster rate than gluing in the filter material. The cover remains consistent for both mask sizes. Edits: I added a second pair of mounts for improved functionality. Enlarged mount holes for smoother printing. Better aligned the mounts to enhance print quality. Revamped the transition from the base grill to the face piece, reducing filament and weight. Thickened the face piece wall slightly and made it more consistent to improve print quality. All the same disclaimers of the original design still apply.
