UPDATE* 17-FEB Updated the latest version of SCREW BASE. 3M 6200 V8 screw 45mm short v11.stl This will replace all previous screw heads and should fit to all printers, solving all screw not fitting into thread issues. This update has solved the problem of screws not being able to be screwed in for some users. UPDATE: DO NOT USE PETG --- it will be very difficult to screw in. PLEASE USE PLA ONLY. UPDATE* There are 2 sizes of thread. STANDARD one is 40mm. If you have an issue, please print the smaller 39mm version, it should be easily to screw in. A better 35-41mm version is out: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4160375 Using a layer thickness of 0.15mm will take approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes per set. Using a layer thickness of 0.20mm will take approximately 4 hours and 43 minutes per set. Each waterproof surgical mask can be cut into approximately 12 filter pieces, and after testing, each filter can last for more than one day. If you are afraid that the filter may come into contact with droplets, I also have three other designs available. If you have a Prusa M3S, simply use the original Prusa slicer and choose 0.15mm Speed Settings. The print should complete within 5.5 hours. It is suggested to print in PLA, as it will work with PETG, but PLA will give you the best results. PETG is not necessary for its intended use. A normal mask can be cut into at least 12 circle pieces. It will work with two layers of mask in each filter, but it's best to keep it single layer for good airflow into the mask. Note: You may want to use a knife to trim the top of the screw head to make it easier to screw into the cap, but it is not necessary. If you find that this does not provide sufficient protection for the filter as it is exposed, I have three other designs uploading with a shield directly in front. However, those will require support. You will only need support on the bottom between the shields. Print it upside down and check the photos.
