Film Roll 3d model
cgstudio
A detailed 3D model of a Film Roll is now available for use in presentations and animations. Simple textures are used to create this realistic design. Description: Roll film, a type of photographic film, is wound onto a spool with a paper backing that shields it from white light exposure. This differs from regular film, which is protected from exposure and loaded into a cartridge. The name "roll film" was originally mistaken for "cartridge film" because the film resembles a shotgun cartridge in its design. The opaque backing allows roll film to be used during daylight hours. Each frame on the roll is printed with markings that can be viewed through a small red window at the back of the camera. A spool of roll film is loaded on one side of the camera and pulled across to an identical take-up spool on the other side as each exposure is made. Once the roll is fully exposed, the take-up spool is removed for processing, and the empty spool that initially held the film is moved to the other side, becoming the new take-up spool for the next roll of film.
